Logic Communications Ltd., Bermuda’s premier Internet service provider, on Monday launches Bermuda’s first Residential Unlimited Long-Distance Plan. The new plan will allow customers unlimited calling to the US, the UK, Canada and Ireland for one low monthly rate.

A milestone for Bermuda’s telecommunications industry, this new pricing structure will provide tremendous savings to residents. This is the second groundbreaking price cut from Logic, who last December slashed consumer DSL and dial-up Internet rates, forcing other providers to follow suit. The move reflects the company’s strategy to lead the local telecommunications industry by adding value and building an advantage for its customers.

Logic’s ability to use technology for the benefit of its customers has made this offer possible, putting the pricing in line with some US providers. And since calls will continue to be routed through a major US carrier, call quality will retain its current high standard.

There will be different rates offered through this new pricing structure, ranging no higher than $45 per month. Additionally, existing Logic customers are eligible for even lower rates.

Logic has sent existing customers details of the offer by email and signup forms will be available from Tuesday at BTC’s service centre, 30 Victoria Street, Lindo’s Family Foods, Warwick and Lindo’s Market in Devonshire, Phoenix Store in Hamilton, Paget Pharmacy, Collector’s Hill Apothecary and Logic on Burnaby Street.
