Acceptable Use Policy
Logics Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) is set forth below. All users of Logics services and network, including Logic customers and their end users must comply with the AUP. Logic may terminate or suspend service for any violation of the AUP at its sole discretion. Violations may result in criminal and civil liability. Logic will investigate incidents involving violations and may involve and will cooperate with law enforcement if a criminal violation is suspected.
The following activities constitute violations of this AUP:
- Unlawful, Harmful or Offensive Content: Logics services and network may only be used for lawful purposes. Uploading, downloading, posting, distributing, publishing or otherwise transmitting any message, data, information, image, text or other material that is unlawful, libelous, defamatory, slanderous, obscene, pornographic, indecent, lewd, harassing, threatening, harmful, abusive, inflammatory or otherwise harmful or offensive to third parties is prohibited.
- Harm to minors: Use of Logics services or network to harm, or attempt to harm, minors in any way, including, but not limited to child pornography or sexual solicitation is prohibited.
- Fraudulent activity. Use of Logics services to make fraudulent offers to sell or buy products, items, or services or to advance any type of financial scam is prohibited.
- Reselling the services: Resale of Logics service without our express written authorization is prohibited.
- Unsolicited commercial e-mail / Unsolicited bulk e-mail: Use of Logics service to transmit any unsolicited commercial or unsolicited bulk e-mail, including, without limitation, commercial advertising and informational announcements is expressly prohibited. A user shall not use another sites mail server to relay mail without the express permission of the site.
Examples of system or network security violations include, without limitation, the following:
- Impersonation: Adding, removing or modifying identifying network header information in any manner in an effort to deceive or mislead is prohibited. Attempting to impersonate any person by using forged headers or other identifying information is prohibited.
- Hacking. Unauthorized access to, monitoring of or use of data, services, systems or networks, including any attempt to probe, scan or test the vulnerability of a system or network or to breach security or authentication measures without express authorization of the owner of the system or network is prohibited.
- Avoiding System Restrictions. Using manual or electronic means to avoid any use limitations placed on Logics services or network is prohibited.
- Interference: Interference with service to any user, host or network is prohibited, including, without limitation, mailbombing, flooding, deliberate attempts to overload a system and broadcast attacks.
Logic requests that anyone who believes that there is a violation of this AUP direct the information to the Abuse Department at abuse@logic.bm
Logic reserves the right to revise, amend, or modify this AUP any time and in any manner. Notice of any revision, amendment, or modification will be posted on Logics web site.
